The use of ground anchors is just one aspect of the wide range of processes offered by the Group for retaining structures pre-founded, such as diaphragm walls, Berlin-type walls, Lutetian-type walls and sheet pile walls. The largest ground anchors we install are for dams.

Soletanche Bachy has drawn on all its considerable expertise in contributing to the 2020 edition of Recommandations Tirants D’ancrage TA 95 (TA 95 recommendations for ground anchors) published by the CFMS.

The members of the CFMS working group include Basile LECONTE and Paul VIDIL from Soletanche Bachy, and Cyril GAUCHERAND from Freyssinet.

As in previous editions, the guide will cover all aspects of the ground anchor construction, from sizing and installation to inspection and maintenance. It will be based on three different types of standard (implementation, justification and testing), and will contain an updated summary for France.

New topics will also be covered (weighing, European standards compliance, etc.), as well as additional content added since the last edition (steel and non-prestressed anchor rods, etc.).

The new edition will be launched at a trade presentation at IFSTTAR on 6 February 2020. If you’d like to attend, please register at: http://www.cfms-sols.org/manifestations

As a world leader in foundations and soil technologies, Soletanche Bachy regularly makes its technical skills available to the industry as a whole. So we are very proud to have made our contribution to the new edition of this important publication.
