In Mexico, Soletanche Bachy goes digital with QR codes on its construction site plans
As part of the Soletanche Bachy environmental approach and of the digitalisation process and work with BIM systems, Cimesa, Mexican subsidiary of Soletanche Bachy now includes QR codes on its plans.

Accessible from a smartphone or a tablet, wherever you are located, this system reduces our paper consumption and makes it more practical for worksite personnel to view the plans of the works by zooming into the image. It also means that the plans available are always the latest version.
The design engineer in charge of each project has responsibility for uploading the latest versions of plans to the cloud and ensuring that the cloud is permanently up to date.
Our goal, is to work totally in BIM mode by using this type of app to maximise the opportunities offered by digital technology.
