On December 13th, Cimesa, Mexican subsidiary of Soletanche Bachy, concluded the foundation, containment and earthworks by concreting the slab of the University Tower.
More than 1000 m3 concreted to a depth of 48 m in 12 hours, yet another magnificent performance by the site team!
As a reminder, University Tower is a mixed-used building with commercial and housing spaces of 58-storey tower and 18 circular basement levels with technical service spaces in central Mexico City. The tower is being constructed on a foundation system of barrettes at 74 metres depth and a self-supporting circular diaphragm wall at 48 metres.
